Though it is a comment, from a Lib Dem Voice thread on Conference accreditation: It sometimes strikes me that some people see winning elections as an end in itself, without giving very much thought about why you are trying to win them or what you should do when you have. And paradoxically, it's that kind of attitude that has paved the way for electoral disaster.
